The US Forest Service, in partnership with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and Xerces, just planted 40 native trees to help restore Plaskett Creek Campground for overwintering monarchs. A fire crew, still on-site for the smoldering Dolan wildfire which came within miles of this site, pitched in to make the planting happen.
