WMC Volunteer Training in Santa Barbara: 11/12/22 & 11/13/22

Two Western Monarch Thanksgiving Count Trainings Opportunities for Santa Barbara County:

FULL ~~Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 9:00 – 10:30 am~~
Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 8:00 – 9:30 am

Location: Volunteers will meet regional coordinator, Charis van der Heide at the Ellwood Mesa end of Coronado Drive in Goleta.

Equipment: Please bring a quality pair of binoculars, preferably 8×42 magnification. These do not have to be expensive, but the magnification is important – much less than 8×42 won’t allow you to see the individual monarchs and much more won’t allow you to see enough of the clusters.
