Description:
Volunteer Refresher Training for the Western Monarch Thanksgiving Count. This training is for volunteers in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.
The refresher training will include the following:
-Overview of the count protocol and data collection and submission process (new data collection and submission process this year using the Survey 123 app !!)
-Brief history of the count
-Overview of the status of the Western Monarch population
-Importance of the count with updates on research using Thanksgiving and New Year’s count data
-Updates from Regional Coordinators
-Question and Answer session
