All About Monarchs: What They Need and How We Can Help

Join biologist Jessica Griffiths on Saturday November 14, from 1PM to 2PM as she leads a virtual talk, and walk through the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden from 3PM-4PM to learn more about monarchs, why they’re declining, what they need to thrive, and how YOU can help! She will share the most up to date information from scientists and conservationists about monarchs, and what you can do to create and protect monarch habitat.

The talk will take place on Zoom on Saturday, November 14 from 1 pm- 2 pm followed by a walk around the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden looking at monarch habitat and food sources (and possibly monarchs, themselves!) from 3 pm- 4pm.

Virtual Presentation and Garden walk are each suggested donation of $5 for members/$10 public.
Attendance is limited and ticket sales will end at noon on the day of the event.
